The Southern Cross® Zip Scuff is a 150mm men’s lace-up safety boot with an
industrial grade side zip and scuff cap.
Upper Materials
Nubuck (Sand and Wheat) cowhide water-resistant leather upper with double stitching in nylon thread. Features a scalloped, padded collar and tongue, and non-metallic lacing.
Toe Cap
200J composite toe cap.
Lining Materials
This boot is lined with Baltico®, a soft, non-abrasive, hydrophobic material that wicks perspiration away from the foot, keeping the skin cool and dry. Fresche QuatlockTM, a sustainable and renewable resource, is applied during the manufacturing process to provide antibacterial and antimicrobial protection to the boot.
Full Innersole
A full-length footbed is inserted into the footwear to provide additional support and comfort. This footbed is made from soft polyurethane, which will retain its shape and thickness throughout the life of the boot.
Insole
Heavy-duty, flexible, antibacterial, non-woven insole.
Midsole
Directly moulded polyurethane midsole for greater shock absorption.
Outsole
Anti-Static Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) Outsole for superior wear properties and heat resistant to 130°C.
Trisole® Comfort Technology
The Steel Blue soling system is a patented three-density soling system that provides a high level of comfort, shock absorbency, and energy return. The system uses PORON® as energy-absorbing pads placed under the pressure points of the foot to deliver superior comfort and offers shock absorbency comparable to that of sports footwear.
